Magaly Solier in 'Amador'

‘Amador’: What Would You Do to Keep Your Job?

A simple, elegant and humorous story from the director of Los lunes al sol.

Fernando León de Aranoa, the Spanish director of Los lunes al sol (Mondays in the Sun), brings us another great narrative. Magaly Solier plays Marcela, a pregnant immigrant flower girl with financial troubles. She takes a job caring for a bedridden elderly man (Celso Bugallo). However, necessity and destiny lead her to make a drastic decision. Amador is a simple and elegant story with a touch of humor.

FUN FACT: Celso Bugallo plays another character named Amador in Fernando León de Aranoa’s Los lunes al sol. Both share a similar fate.
